This ongoing project explores how light, colour and composition can give form to something almost intangible. Made from layered, transparent Perspex shapes, each work holds a soft glow at its centre, creating the feeling of a small portal or suspended threshold. The forms are developed from drawings and doodles, allowing fluid gestures to become physical structures that hover between collage, lighting object and wall based sculpture.
Through simple materials and careful arrangements of shape and colour, the works invite a sense of curiosity, wonder and quiet awe. They suggest otherworldly domains brought closer through atmosphere, as if invisible spaces might briefly become visible through light.
